What's an Intern To do?

Meet Gianna- Gianna is a High School Student from Philadelphia- I am lucky to have her help as an intern for a couple of weeks! What exactly does an intern do- Well, there seems to be absolutely tonnes to do!  Gi is not a professional photographer, but yet there are so many skills needed to make a photo studio run. As an intern expect your duties to be very varied - From sweeping the floor, to carrying a ladder, to walking the studio dogs - Organisational skills and Confidence are a Must!

Gi on location where duties included first - remaining calm - knowing my equipment well enough to find it on cue, being able to field questions from inquiring family and guests, fluffing dresses and even fixing the bride's hair 

Taking a Break from the computer, Gi took Joe and Otis around the hood for some air....

So!

 So something funky happened with Blogspot and I was unable to post for a little while, but we have been busy as bees at the studio :)  I am happy to welcome a new Intern to the Studio- Hooray Gianna! Of course a photo to be posted soon-

Congratulations go out to Jordan

Jordan's Bar Mitzvah Ceremony was held at M'kor Shalom
with a celebration following at the Westin, Mt. Laurel
Lot's of Dancing, Lot's of Fun

The Studio has also been very busy with Album designs-
The studio is pleased to announce the addition of some very fun books

 

 A new album line coming in alot of fun colors, fabrics and unique Designs  all geared towards personalising the memories of your celebration
In the meantime, Krista & Fran picked up their finished wedding album
Krista and Fran chose an Indigo Japanese Bookcloth for their Album - Keeping the album contemporary they went with square corners and flush photos

Lauren and Mike went with a more Vintage look to their book, using a brown vintage leather
Their book had a custom copper gilding and Monogram
Flush photos with a rounded page edge

Over the years I have designed ALOT of albums for different types events and it's amazing how no two albums are alike

Celebrate Peri

Peri celebrated with a luncheon at the Capital Grille

So I asked Peri if she liked Horses- She didn't seem to mind 

I found out later that she loves all animals and shopping too

 

She also loves to have fun and has tonnes of friends

  I received a great Letter from her family:

"I wanted to let you know that we had a chance to look
closely at the photos you took from Peri's Bat Mitzvah and you did an OUTSTANDING job.  One photo was more beautiful than the next.  You really did a wonderful job of telling"the story".  We couldn't be happier.  The hard part will be choosing the best photos because they are all so amazing."

They just arrived today and they are SOOOOOO CUTE!!!

 I have seen that digital sign in Books are hot, but there is nothing like a personalised photo Sign in book that you can keep forever! These are Fun, Funky and very custom - Pages come in black or White- completely personalised and they will last a lifetime

Time has a way of not keeping up with one's schedule. Sometimes our schedules just don't match what is going on around  us- That's sort of what happened with Sharon's Birthday! Sharon was ready to have a birthday, but her house wasn't OR was it?!

Why did I get the feeling that I was photographing a spread for DWELL magazine when in reality I was photographing in a Beautiful work in Progress -

Tulips added the feeling of Spring- architectural plans showed off the house to come
