There really is a lot of news to catch up on, but on a side note- Today was a gorgeous gorgeous fall day! I had the pleasure of taking family photos at a family Reunion in Philadelphia and I went on location in beautiful  Farm country to catch some great Fall color BUT......

Imagine how distracting it was to be taking photos of a family of 41 people and to have the Chicago Bulls Basketball Team walk by! 

Alot of fun! This player asked- Will you take my picture?  I was happy to oblige!  I don't know much about basketball but I think this is Chicago Bulls player Jimmy Butler and I think they are beating the 76ers at the moment?!? What a GREAT Smile!

What Inspires You?!

It was a great night to be out walking around Olde City last night for First Friday.  I love just popping in and out of art studios and Galleries, there is always something to be inspired by.  I happened to catch this moment when I stuck my head in at Trust - Artist Perry Milou in Action

I don't take students on all of the time, but I had a great time working with Olivia! 

She is very creative and has a real love of photography.

Olivia went from taking photos with her Olympus point and shoot to going on vacation with her mom's Sony Single Lense Reflex Camera. Not only did she just switch cameras, but she went from shooting in the Program mode to playing around with the Aperture  and Shutter Modes..... She has a better understanding of how her camera works and how to apply the special features it has to the images she creates.  Olivia is a great student and fun to work with. I look forward to working with her again-

Just for Fun

Have had a busy week designing Albums and making my new updated website live - there are still some tweaks to be worked out, but its coming along

When traveling /camping out west in Ojai, California, a friend of mine & I came upon a shop called the "Attitude Adjustment" - the name resonated with me....

I thought I'd take a small break in my other state of residence, Vermont~ Nothing like hitting the trails and feeling the sunshine for a bit of inspiration

I met George at a Preschool that I used to Photograph - His mother loved his PreSchool photo and thought that he & I had connected, so decided to turn it into a Family Event-
It's been amazingly Fun ever since

Sunday Evening was a perfect night in Ocean City, NJ for Beach Portraits~  Big blue sky and beautiful warm light.
I had a great time on the beach working again with an extended family ~ 7 children / 8 adults- Who would say "no" to a night at the beach. Everyone got their toes wet!

August and September are a great time to schedule portraits with your family.
